Lime, a noble and timeless material

Lime plaster is a natural, ecological, and deeply authentic material. Composed of air lime, marble powder, fine sand, and plant-based additives, its qualities draw from an ancestral tradition while perfectly meeting contemporary interior design requirements.

Back in fashion for its aesthetic and technical virtues, lime plaster is distinguished by its material effect, its subtle texture and the depth of its hues enriched with natural pigments. Unlike traditional paint, it brings body, relief and a unique vibration to walls, transforming each space according to the natural light that reveals its nuances.

Lime, a decorative and technical coating

Lime is also attractive for its intrinsic characteristics, which make it a material of choice in the construction and renovation sectors. Indeed, these coatings ensure exceptional breathability, allowing walls to effectively manage humidity and prevent problems related to water accumulation.

In this trend toward self-sufficient, perfectly airtight, low-energy buildings, it sometimes becomes essential to return to materials of yesteryear. Authentic, time-tested materials capable of restoring a natural balance and promoting well-being within the walls themselves. Lime plaster, with its mineral composition and ability to allow walls to breathe, embodies this desire to combine environmental performance with lasting comfort.

More than just a coating, it actively contributes to the health of the building and that of its occupants.

The different aspects of lime

BADIMAT limewash is similar to paint, ready to use and with a semi-thick texture, it is applied with a lime brush. Its ease of application and natural shades make it particularly attractive.

The MINÉRAL 000 lime plaster is a powder plaster to be mixed with the coloring dose or with powder pigments. Its perfectly smooth application and its coarse-grained finish give it a more authentic appearance. Depending on the desired finish, it is possible to close the grain of the plaster more or less. Lime plaster is particularly used in interior renovation and is also very approved in the restoration of historic buildings and the revaluation of old city centers.

MARMOLAKT lime plaster has its roots in the famous Tadelakt. Tadelakt is a highly aesthetic smoothed stucco (satin or glossy) of Moroccan craftsmanship characterized by the shimmering and transparencies of old-fashioned lime plasters. Naturally bactericidal and antifungal, it also has excellent water permeability, making it an ideal choice for humid rooms such as bathrooms, showers, and hammams.

Whether as a coating, a whitewash, or a stucco, lime offers an infinite number of possibilities. It infuses interiors with character and warmth, giving them a raw, refined, and deeply vibrant feel.
